When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to this policy: 

Late Arrivals

It is best to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you arrive later than the scheduled start time we still have to end your treatment on the initial scheduled end time. Please keep in mind that you will be charged for the cost of the initial scheduled appointment. In order to get the most of your treatments by us, please be on time!

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Your appointment is very important to us and must be secured with a credit card. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments; 48 hours notice is preferred. This allows the opportunity for another client to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a “no show” cancellation fee of 30% of your booked service(s).

We recognize the time of everyone involved is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee. Not receiving a courtesy electronic notification of your appointment(s) from us is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original confirmation notification was received timely.

It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or rescheduling fee will apply.

We also recognize that your time is valuable, if an event arose where we would have to cancel your appointment within 24 hours, we would issue a gift card in the value of 30% of your booked service(s) to be used at a later date.

Sick or Feeling Unwell

If you are sick or under the weather, please let us know so we can reschedule your appointment. We want to make sure to respect and protect everyone’s well-being. Getting a treatment while sick is not recommended and, in some cases, can make you feel worse. 

Payment Policy

A valid credit card number is required at the time of booking. This policy also applies to gift card and gift certificate holders. Full payments are due at time of service. If you choose to use an alternate form of payment at the time of your appointment, you may do so. We accept cash (no change provdied), Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept Venmo and Zelle payments. We do not accept personal checks.

Medical Conditions

Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy, or special needs which may affect your services.

Some treatments are not recommended for guests who have certain conditions. For your safety we require a doctor’s clearance before beginning treatment, particularly in the face of the following conditions:
  • Cancer
  • Cardiovascular conditions, including high or low blood pressure
  • Swollen or painful lymph nodes
  • Undiagnosed skin rash or thrombosis
  • New injury of any kind
  • Open sores
  • Arthritis (osteo- or rheumatoid)
  • Diabetes
  • Blood Disorder and Disease

Please note that individuals who have received Botox or Dermal fillers (any injectables), chemical peels, micro-needling, micro-blading, permanent makeup/tattoo, cosmetic treatments with laser or ultrasound, Must wait at least 2 weeks before any facial treatment can be performed.

Individuals prescribed Accutane (Isotretinoin Therapy) must wait 6-12 months after completion of the prescription before any facial treatment can be performed.

Prices & Services

Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift certificates may be purchased online for your convenience. If this is a gift that you would like to keep as a surprise, please do not use the recipient's email address during checkout, as they will be notified automatically. Instead, use your own email address and choose one of the following options to present the gift:

  • Forward the email to them when ready.

  • Print a copy to include in a card or gift.

  • Schedule a time to pick up a physical card from our location after completing your online purchase.

Please remind your loved ones to bring a printed version of the gift certificate email to redeem it upon arrival at our spa.

Kindly note:

Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be reimbursed if lost, misplaced, or stolen.

Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

Refunds

Unfortunately, skin care products, spa services and gift cards/certificates are non-refundable. In the event an abnormal reaction to a purchased product occurs the issue must be reported within 2 weeks of original purchase date and a spa credit will be issued. Faulty product and/or packaging issues must be reported within 2 weeks of original purchase date and the product will be replaced with like product.

Personal Belongings

Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Skin + Halo is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.

Gratuity

At Skin + Halo, relaxation and rejuvenation are our top priorities. We are dedicated to providing each guest with a seamless, stress-free spa experience. While gratuities are never expected, they are graciously accepted if you feel we have exceeded your expectations. Your presence is truly valued, and any gesture of appreciation is warmly received.


Quiet Environment

As a courtesy to others, cell phones and all mobile devices must be turned off or put on silent when entering the facility.

Children & Visitors Accompanying the Client

Due to limited space in our private studio environment, we are unable to accommodate visitors/children accompanying clients. This policy is strictly enforced.
